Resumo: Objetivo: O objetivo deste trabalho foi verificar o ganho ósseo intrasinusal obtido com as técnicas de osteotomia, taxas de sucesso de implantes e taxas de perfuração de membrana sinusal. Metodologia: Foi realizada uma busca retrospectiva na literatura sobre o tema em bases de dados eletrônicas e excluídos os artigos que não apresentavam relevância científica. Conclusão: A técnica da osteotomia se mostrou relevante cientificamente em todos os itens pesquisados.

Abstract: Objective: The objective of this study was to assess intrasinusalbone gain obtained with the osteotome technique, implant success rates and rates of sinusal membrane perforation. Methods: We performed a retrospective search literature of the subject in electronic databases and excluded the articles that had no scientific relevance. Conclusion: The osteotomy technique proved scientifically relevant to all items researched.
