Medição da Largura do Arco Dental por meio de Tomografia Computadorizada Cone Beam

Resumo: O uso da Tomografia Computadorizada Cone Beam (TCCB) na Odontologia tem aumentado nos últimos tempos. Entre as suas utilizações se encontra a medição da largura e profundidade da arcada dental. Este trabalho realizou uma revisão da literatura sobre o tema e verificou que a TCCB pode ser empregada para tais propósitos, bem como foi observada uma variação nos pontos de referências para obter tais medidas.

Palavras-chave: Tomografia, arco dental, cefalometria.

 

Abstract: The use of Computed Tomography Cone Beam in Dentistry has increased in the last years. Among the uses is the measurement of dental arch depth and width. This review found that the Computed Tomography Cone Beam can be used to that measurements and that there are several references points used by different researchers. Corrigir, conforme o resumo.
