Abstract: This research describes a pterosaur remain from the Aptian/Albian Romualdo Formation collected on a new potential site at the southernmost portion of the Araripe Basin. The specimen (DGEO-CTG-UFPE 7516) consists of three-dimensionally preserved ulna that shows morphological affinities with the Pteranodontoidea and is tentatively referred to Anhangueridae because of the presence of a well-developed ventral ridge on the distal end. Histological features suggest it was an ontogenetically developed individual and the estimated wingspan ranges from 4.4 m to 4.6 m. This is the first record of this group for the Exu municipality, broadening the horizons of occurrence of pterosaurs in new localities within the Araripe Basin.
