Resumo: O artigo discute as contribuições de Ivone Gebara para a teologia ecofeminista, em especial ao articular seus conceitos teológicos desde uma perspectiva chinesa e budista. Com sua proposta de reciclagem do cristianismo em direção a uma consciência cosmológica, Gebara alcança, ao longo do artigo, as duas qualidades espirituais principais no budismo: a sabedoria e a compaixão.

Abstract: The article dialogues with the ecofeminist ideas of Ivone Gebara from a Chinese and Buddhist feminist perspective. Kwok Pui-Lan states that in her proposal of a recycled Christianity, Ivone Gebara comes close to the most important principles of Buddhism, namely wisdom and compassion.
